What Do They Do?
Seniors and Activism
Just like anyone else, when seniors first connect to the Web, they tend to surf widely and visit dozens of new sites until finally they settle down to a pattern of revisiting the same sites that focus on their main interests time and time again. This is similar to the way most other age groups use the Web.
The implications of this online behaviour are noteworthy. Nonprofits with a commitment to having a vital and worthwhile (not just information-based) Web presence will want to make their organization's web site one of the ones visited regularly by their supporters.
